KC's first sailings of 2012
Words and Pictures by Jeremy Gold
Some pictures from Saturday's KC sailings - a day earlier than planned on 7 April 2012 - showing some of the fruits of a heavy winter refit (PSPS support gratefully acknowledged, also a substantial gift from a supporter for new carpets).
There are still a few jobs to do, and a new canopy and side screens are on the way.
Trustees and crew extraordinaire – John Megoran & Roddy McKee
Volunteers extraordinaire – Jill Harvey & Gerry Abrahams
The man who does all the hard work – Nigel Thomas
The new aft decking
The new carpeting – forward lounge on the left, aft on the right, funded by a generous donation from a KC supporter
The new forward coach roof ...
... from all angles
Part of the day's AIS track - a down river and an up river cruise
New forward plumbing - a management conference
The secret of KC's fine tea & coffee - the steam kettle
Another preserved Dart paddler - but not by the PSPS!
